Anastasia received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Western Ontario, with a double major in Disability Studies and Criminology. She subsequently obtained her Paralegal Diploma from Humber College. Anastasia is licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. She would join Bergmanis Preyra LLP in 2020, with over 2 years of experience she has become well versed in personal injury law in both tort and accident benefit claims.
Positive attitude, superior work ethic, flexibility, empathy and practical mindset are some of Anastasia’s outstanding qualities that are displayed daily in her role and appreciated by members of our team and clients alike. She uses her diligence, empathy and professionalism to deal with all client matters. Anastasia thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in her knowledge of legal procedures, strong administrative, organizational and communication skills. She assists with the efficiency of the firm’s operations including, but not limited to, drafting legal documents, such as Affidavit of Documents, LAT applications and briefs, etc.
Her cultural sensitivity and fluency in Russian and English enables her to better relate and advocate for clients while reducing barriers they may face during the legal process. In her spare time, Anastasia enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her dog Romeo. She is an avid swimmer and has a passion for travel.
